Join Synaptic Dynamics as an AI Algorithm Research Intern and contribute to cuttingedge projects that bridge neuroscience and artificial intelligence. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside worldclass scientists. Research and develop novel spiking neural network (SNN) algorithms for unsupervised and reinforcement learning paradigms. Implement and simulate proposed algorithms using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow, adapting them for neuromorphic hardware constraints. Analyze and benchmark algorithm performance on standard datasets and proprietary neuromorphic datasets. Collaborate with the hardware team to understand the capabilities and limitations of our neuromorphic chips. Document research findings in detailed reports and contribute to academic publications and patent applications. Participate in weekly lab meetings and present research progress to the team. Explore applications of neuromorphic computing in areas such as autonomous systems, robotics, and sensory processing. Stay abreast of the latest research in neural computation, deep learning, and neuromorphic engineering. Assist in the development of software tools for training and deploying models on neuromorphic hardware. This internship is designed to provide handson experience with realworld challenges in AI research.
